I have fond and humorous memories of Sr. Rosemarie, and wish that I could be present for her funeral service but will be out of town. I just gave a devotional recently at my Community Bible Study leader's group which focused on the prayer that Sr. Rosemarie had us pray every day at the beginning of class, "That in all things God may be glorified." 1 Peter 4:11. At the time, I don't think I really internalized that one liner, but attributed it to Sr. Rosemarie's way of wanting to say a quick prayer and get down to the business at hand of teaching math or physics. It now is one of my favorite prayers and funny how I now see how encompassing and deep it really is. Succinct but to the point, and is such a good reminder that in all things we should be giving God the glory and doing things that give him him glory. So, I thank her for that prayer and for her service to God as a caring and dedicated teacher. And I know that now she is with Him sharing in that glory. God Bless all the sisters at St. Placid! Love, Barb
