I was saddened to learn about Sherrie. She is someone I enjoyed working with for several years. She brought her classes into the library and always worked with them. Students liked and respected her. She was a fine teacher and a fine person.

Sherrie was my High School Gym teacher and coach. I think her positive attitude is what kept me going in sports later in life. I remember how serious she was but also how much fun we had too. I remember when the team sang "Sherrie Baby" to her, it was hilarious. To this day when I hear that song I think of my HS teacher Sherrie. My deepest condolences to the family.
