Although Bob was a well-known CPA with dozens of clients throughout the Olympia area, he was more than simply an accountant. He was a friend and trusted adviser who made us feel confident and cared for. Visiting his office, Kim and I would often run into friends we'd known for years. In all cases, they'd come to Bob and his wife based on recommendations from their friends. We live in an increasingly impersonal age. Online services guide both common and what used to be called "personal" decisions. We will miss Bob's warmth, handshake, questions about our family back home and our times with him when we knew a friend was looking out for us. -- Jeff & Kim young

I am sad to hear this news. Bob helped our family through many transitions, both business and personal, and was unfailingly kind and patient with our many questions. I didn't know, but am not surprised to see how many community organizations he was involved with. His steady, kind guidance will be missed. Binda Douglas & Macuk family

Our heartfelt sympathy to Leslie and family. Bob worked for our CPA firm many years ago before launching his own business. A man of integrity, we could always count on him to do a good job. He was friendly and outgoing to fellow employees, clients, and the community. He will be missed.
