Robert “Bob” Joseph Kreitler was born March 9, 1944. He died on October 27, 2015. Bob is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Leslie (Bartmess) Kreitler and their daughters Charlotte and Jennifer (Kevin Torgerson). He was born in River Aux Vases, MO, where he graduated from Ste. Genevieve High School. He proudly served his country in the Air Force for 4 years.

Bob and Les met on a blind date and enjoyed a happy life together. After marrying, they moved to Seattle where Bob worked at Alaska Steamship and graduated from the UW Business School 1974. As a Certified Public Accountant, he proudly served his community and clients with professionalism and integrity. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lacey Rotary, Ducks Unlimited, and the Evergreen Sportsmen Gun Club. Bob enjoyed life to the fullest with his family and friends. He found great joy traveling the country on long family vacations, trap shooting, wood working, cheering the “Dawgs”, and many other hobbies. Bob was a kind hearted man who lived his life with great dignity and faith.

He is survived by his brother Paul (Julie) Kreitler, sister Denise (Edward) Staffen, sisters-in law Gail (Bill) Blackburn, Mary Kramer, brothers-in law Craig Bartmess , Matthew Bartmess, and dozens of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents Arch and Alice Kreitler, his brother Gary and brother-in law Jerry Kramer.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic church November 6, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. The family requests donations be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church – Zell Missouri or Lacey Rotary Foundation.
