Char, I have thought about you both over the years, especially after you moved. Hopefully Rick's hemicrania continua lessened over the years. I still have some of the soap-making things you shared with me. Rick and Ray were amazing folks, always doing what they could for others. Thanks for all the support you both gave me over the years. Diane

Sorry to hear of Ricks passing. Our freindship began in 1969 when I joined the Lacey Fire Department. I enjoyed working with Rick, traveling to the Brooklyn Tavern and lunch dates. One of Ricks strong points is that you always knew his position on the subject being discussed which impressed me.

Sorry to hear of Ricks passing. I have many pleasant memories of my association with Rick beginning in 1969 with our working together at Lacey Fire Department. One of Ricks strong points was that you always knew his position on any subject. I enjoyed our trips to the Brooklyn Tavern and will miss our lunch dates.

Enjoyed working with Rick. He was a super financial investigator. He helped in establishing the money laundering laws on the state and federal levels and teaching other financial investigators. In our travels, it was fun to learn about the pioneer history of this area. Rick was a neat guy and will be missed. Fred Caruso

I read about Rick's passing in the paper today. Have thought about Charlene and Rick over the years. I love the photo I have of you both with Skippy, included in the holiday card. We often think of Ray and our trip to the tavern to tell him of the crash Rick was in. I still have the wood coin.

Rick was one of my best dearest friends for forty years. Back in our younger days we belonged to a group of friends that did a lot of dancing and camping together. Rick was always the fun one, the jokester. He did so many funny things. He was always positive and was always especially there when some one was in need. He will be greatly missed.

I remember Rick when he volunteered at Lacey Fire Department and volunteering with the Thurston County Narcotics Task Force where he experience and background was outstanding when it came to asset seizures. Also Rick volunteered with Crime Stoppers of South Sound too helping us keep our financials in order. I got to know Rick on a personal level and he was an outstanding and very caring person and will be missed by everyone. So sorry for your loss. Ed Sorger
