Lois Dowell Mires was born June 17th, 1940 to Margia and Odell Pennington in Rome, Tennessee.
At the age of 19, she married Jack Mires on August 21st, 1959.
She attended school to become a lab tech and later on an LPN.
She touched many people’s lives throughout her nursing career and made a positive impact by doing what she did best, caring for others.
She is survived by her two children, Regina and Troy; Four grandchildren, Chris, Chase, Samson and Sadie; three step-grandchildren, Austin, Everett and Brayden; As well as two great-grandchildren, Chase Jr. and Emily.
