Lee French – Coach and Friend. My thoughts are with all of you as you gather to celebrate the life of Lee French. He touched our lives in many ways. For me, I first met him as the Softball coach to ever teach me the fundamentals of the game. He was patient, kind and funny as he and Sam Maretich began the arduous task of building and training the Casey’s Women’s Softball Team. He, and Mimi, treated the team like family, and often hosted weekend gatherings at their home where we formed a bond with many of their family members. I cherish the time I spent with the family and their friends – and the memories will be forever with me. Love and Blessings to all of you, as you celebrate his life today.

Mimi, Eric and LeAnn - We are so thankful to have been a part of your family for the past 10+ years. I will always remember Lee's smile. And I always loved seeing the joy he got out of being around his grandkids. I loved the way he was always snapping pictures of the grandkids. He certainly set the best example of what being a Papa is all about. We love all of you. Tom and Mary Fluke

Dearest Mimi ~ for over 50 years you have known and loved Lee as not only friend but for 45 years as a wife. The loss of a friend is devestating but to lose a husband of 45 years even more so. We pray that you are comforted by the many wonderful memories you shared together. Please know we love you from our hearts!! Dearest Eric/LeAnn and Families ~ The loss of your Father/Papa can seem inconsoleable but as each day passes may your heart be healed knowing how much he loved all of you and how much you loved him. Our heartfelt love goes out to you! Dearest Family ~ We loved our "Weekly Greeting" and Weekly Breakfasts together didn't we. How we will miss these moments we could share together. We will all miss him so much but so thankful we could share his life with He and his Family. He is resting in peace. Our love to you all!

Uncle Lee was a key part of my growing up. Lee and Mimi are not only my uncle and aunt, but my best friends and mentors. I learned hard work, family and love is all you need in life. I will miss Lee, but he will always be with me in my heart and thoughts. I think of him and those in our family that have departed from us daily, I know they are playing dice and pinochle waiting for us all to reunite with them someday. Choose to love and love those you choose!
