Grace Earlene Roberts, 73, of Yelm, Washington, departed to be with Jesus on Wednesday, October 7, 2015.

A celebration of her life will be at Crossroads Church at 11520 Bald Hill Rd Se, Yelm, Washington at 10 a.m. with a potluck reception after the service. Her ashes will be placed to rest at the New Tacoma Cemetery with her husband located at 9221 Chambers Creek Road. W. University Place, Tacoma Washington.

Earlene was married to Douglas Roberts for over 52 years on July 10th of this last year and loved the home they built together in Yelm, Washington. Earlene loved her home for the beauty and the wildlife that visited. Together they had a full life as business owners serving the community and helping everyone when ever possible. Earlene loved Jesus, churches, studying the bible, praying for everyone and visiting as many churches in a week she could.

Earlene is survived by her beloved brothers and their wives ~ Philip and Linda Burgess of Battleground, WA and Weldon and Barbara Burgess of Port Orchard, WA. By her three loving daughters, Sherry Roberts, Lisa Caruthers, Julie Carver and Julie’s husband Jeffrey, their son Jeffrey James.

Her family and friends shall never forget the loving, gracious eternal hostess, who always thought about their needs and comfort before her own. Even as we mourn, we celebrate her life and knowing she is with Jesus.
