Jerry was my big brother. He was 9 1/2 years older than I. He has always had my back . We are from a large family of 8 children and he was protective, loving and cared about all of us. He thought a lot about what he wanted to say, so if he said something to say, you knew it was solid and he meant it. He was always willing to listen and even in his pain, he would ask about my kids or what someone was doing, he was that kind of person. He had a lot of physical challenges and he beat most of them. We were shocked when he passed. Sometimes people seem bigger than life and like they will always overcome but we all know that there is a time to pass away for everyone. This has been a very hard loss for me but ultimately I know that I will see him again in heaven. You see, this Soldier did believe that Jesus died for all of our sins, for those who would believe in Him. So, see you soon Dear Brother. I'll do what I can to watch out for your boys and your grandkids. Love you!

When my brother was in Army, was a real hard and nervous time for all of us in the family. But, Jerry did come home. His life would be changed bye war, but after some time he moved forward with his life and touched many people. As his sister, my heart is broken right now. What a wonderful friend and brother he has been to me. So glad for all the memories of our childhood together and all the good times and love we shared for each other, always. Rest In Peace my dear one...
