I have a vivid memory of Daryl making a warm after dinner drink he called a " Big A"... with his warning only to have one or you could land on your Big A ! He was such a fun loving uncle . He will be missed but I celebrate his long, well lived life.

Daryl will be greatly missed. He was like a second dad to me. I have such great and fond childhood memories. Making sure you get out of the pool when he jumped in, so he wouldn't attack or drown you. Celebrating our birthdays together, since we have the same birth date., and many more.... God Bless and Rest in Peace. Love always, Suzy Bort- Painter. XXOO

Daryl was always such a fun and loving uncle. His laugh we loved. He was always kidding around with us about our TWINS or Vikings team verses his wonderful WA teams. His love of sports, and his stories of growing up in North Dakota Pheasant hunting on the prairies, helping grandpa on the farm etc. were great to hear. Stories about his children or grandchildren were important things to share with us when we'd see him. We have such great memories of a man who lived life well. Dorene and Curt
