Cristina Acfalle Manibusan, 87, passed away on October 6, 2019, at Tacoma General Hospital.  She was born to Francisco Acfalle and Maria Castro on April 18, 1932 in Oka Tamuning, Guam.

On May 19, 1952 she married Jose Maanao Manibusan at Nino Perdido Church in Asan, Guam.  They had been married for 26 years at the time that Jose passed away in 1979.

Cristina is preceded in death by her husband Jose; her parents Francisco Acfalle and Maria Castro; her step mother Teresa Afelleje; her siblings Florentina Limtiaco, Daniel Acfalle, Francisco Acfalle, Jesus Acfalle, and Teresita Acfalle;  her sons Joseph Manibusan and Victor Manibusan; her daughter-in-law Winnie Manibusan; and her granddaughters Marissa Harris and Cristine Taimanao.

She is survived by siblings Francisca Alvarez and Cecilia Aquino; her children and their spouses, Marie and Joe Mesa of Albany, OR; Pedro and Winnie (deceased) Manibusan of Albany, OR; Juana Manibusan (Daughter-in-law) of Columbus, GA; Bernadita and Lorenzo Cruz of Clinton, MD; Edita and Julian Taimanao of Ordot, Guam; David and Lorna Manibusan of Asan, Guam; Antoinette Santos of Lacey, WA; Martha and James Harris of Lacey, WA; and Christopher and Tara Manibusan of Dededo, Guam.

Cristina leaves behind 36 grandchildren and their spouses: Joey and Christy Mesa, Pedro and Alison Manibusan, Jr., Eric and Alisa Manibusan, Viera and Kris Pech, Vincent and Valerie Manibusan, Mina and Michael Heimbach, Raymond and Sally Manibusan, Christine Cruz, Pamela and Kelcey Sugioka, Lorenzo and Leslie Cruz, Jr., Raymond Mesa, Joseph Manibusan, Joleen Mesa, Cristina and Kenneth Blocher, Nadine and Mitchell McCoy, Andrew and Kelli Manibusan, Joleen and Robert Mendoza, Barbara Taimanao, Cristina Mesa, Julie and John Butler Jr., Lalani Manibusan, Renae and Jesse Flores, Natalie and Maletino Hola, Triscia Solesbee, Peter Mesa, Joseph Taimanao, Martina Santos, Julian

Cristina was a loving matriarch that left behind a strong legacy of family values, tradition and culture.  She shared her love of God and our Mother Mary with all people she encountered. When she was not crocheting, you could find her watching reruns of Family Fued, Criminal Minds and Blue Bloods.  She also enjoyed sharing her love with others through food.

Cristina will be remembered for her love of family, unwavering faith
in God and her beautiful smile.
