I had the gracious opportunity to work with Clara in the Harrington Public Schools for many years. Truly an exceptional and caring soul, so committed to her wonderful husband, awesome family, to our students, the school and community! Always a great smile and great laughter...we enjoyed such regard, good times and a great working relationship. Clara was a pillar of quiet confidence, grace and always a consummate professional. So proud to have worked beside her and especially to count Clara (and Jim) as a dear colleagues, mentors and friends. We were able to stay in touch over the years, usually with a phone call to catch up on New Year's eve. Like many, my heart is deeply saddened at her passing but joyful at the thought of our friendship. Needless to say, I will miss hearing her voice. With grateful regards...
