To Barbara Wood's family and friends: Barbara was a delightful and positive presence in my life. She greeted me with a welcoming smile every time I saw her at church. She gave me updates on her children and grandchildren with such pride and love. She cared so much for all of you! Barbara made a prayer shawl for me during my last year at First Christian Church. It was and is of great comfort to me as I pray for peace and joy as I remember my Mother and now Barbara in their special places in heaven. May God bless each of you as you think of Barbara and celebrate the life of a very dear and wonderful woman.

Dear Family members -- I recall Barbara as having a vital spirit! When I was the pastor at First Christian Church in Olympia she attended the General Assembly of the Christian Church, Disciples of Christ in Portland, OR. She was probably in her early 80's. She was a determined woman! When Barbara came to the orientation meeting in our home she talked about the Mariners. She loved baseball! Barbara loved her dear daughters and all her family. She spoke of you with me when I visited her in her apartment. What a dear lady! Blessings and Peace to all of you! Mary Olney-Loyd
