Yong Suk passed away peacefully in her sleep Monday, December 7, 2015 at Puget Sound Healthcare Center, her home for the last few months of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tae Hun Kim. They were blessed with five children who survive her: Incha Gravely (Benjamin), Ki Hyong (Ok Soon), Uicha Mitchell (Kevin), Ki Ho (Yong Suk), and Ki Hwan (Kyung Ja). Eleven grandchildren also survive her, along with eight great-grandchildren. She will be remembered for her love of gardening and for the nurture and love she gave to each of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a true treasure to those who were blessed to know her.
There will be an open viewing at noon on December 11, 2015, with services following at 1:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home (5930 Mullen Road Southeast Lacey, WA 98503).
