Steve and Terese were wonderful neighbors in Gig Harbor. They were the first family we came to know when we moved into our home. We remember Steve's open and welcoming presence. Terese, upbeat and ever neighborly, by his side. We were sad for them to move, now we are deeply saddened by his passing. He will be remembered for his many contributions in the neighborhood and community. Our deepest condolences to Terese, Mallory, Caitlin, and Rachel.

I was so sorry to read of Steve's passing in the Gateway Newspaper. Greeting Steve and Terese when they attended Harbor Covenant Church always with a smile and firm hand shake, leaves me with a smile on my face as I write this. My prayers are with you and your family. Bill Glazebrook

Please accept my deepest sympathy on the passing of Steve. We were bandmates from 7th grade through high school. Always happy and earnest and he was a kind person. He loved a good joke. He will be missed.

Steve was a remarkable leader, visionary and friend to all. He truly cared about the people he met and made it his focus to enhance the lives of others. He was not "me" focused, but rather "we" focused. He was all about celebrating everyone's accomplishments and letting you know that you mattered. I feel honored to have known Steve and send my condolences to his family.

Terese, I lost a big piece of my heart when I learned of Steve's passing. His friendship was the greatest I've ever known. We shared many laughs, hugs, tears, thoughts, ideas and great times over the years. I loved him like a brother; and wish I would have been able to see y'all more often than I did. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. You and the girls are in my thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time. May God bless & comfort y'all through this process. Please know that I will be with you in spirit Thursday; but, unfortunately will not be able to be there in person.
