Steven Brent Dwinal, originally from Davenport, Iowa, died June 25th at his home in Olympia. He was 60.
Steven was the President and driving force of Genothen Holdings for the last 12 years. A man unafraid of adversity, Steven overcame two floods and a fire, moving from Iowa to Illinois to Nebraska before founding a permanent home for his family in Washington State. Ever honest and constant, he invested his life in his family and left everyone he encountered with a lasting sense of his force of personality and of his abiding vision for a better future.
A loving husband and adoring father of three, Steven is survived by his loving wife, Terese; daughters Mallory, Caitlin, and Rachel; brother Richard; and sisters Nancy Fuji and Jan Wood. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Mary Dwinal, and brothers Daniel and Doug Dwinal. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 2nd, from 4-6 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home. Arrangements can be found at www.woodlawn-funeralhome.com. Following the memorial service, an informal celebration of Steven’s life will be held at The Office Bar and Grilll at 2030 Mottman Road SW in Tumwater, WA.
