Roy Leo Aultman, 84, of the Federal Way, Washington passed away on December 28, 2014 at St. Francis medical center in Federal Way.
Roy was born June 19, 1930 in Leland, Mississippi to James Madison Aultman and Anna Catherine Jefferies Aultman. The son of a farmer. Roy grew up in Leland, Mississippi he was Number six of ten children. In 1948, Roy left home to serve his country in the United States Navy. He served on the USS Abraham destroyer as a boiler tender.
Roy loved to go on drives, he liked to eat box at Jack-in-the-Box, he had a passion for the outdoors, he collected knives & coins, Roy was a very passionate; He was an all or none kind of person. He loved everybody and would give anything had to help another. His philosophy was if others are happy then I am happy.
Roy is survived by his daughter Angela Hebel; three grandchildren Tessa Joy Heyer and her husband Zach, Patricia Crystal Johnson, Tara Lynn Johnson; five great-grandchildren Bryce Heyer, Kaylee Jo Johnson, Elias Johnson, Joseph Johnson, Davan Johnson; five brothers and sisters Lydia Jones, Jesse Thompson, Thomas Aultman, Eugene Aultman, and Pearl Hooten;
Along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Aultman is preceded in death by his parents; his siblings Louis Aultman, James Aultman, Martha Thompson, Clarence Aultman.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 1 PM at Woodlawn funeral home in Lacey Washington.
