Rose Marie Marsh (Brosamer)

Born: Oakland, California September 25, 1937

Died: Shelton, Washington November 29, 2017

Rose enjoyed reading, gardening, traveling and scenic drives.

As a young adult she was in the Civil Air Patrol and nurse training.

She grew up in Tacoma, Washington and lived there until she graduated high school.

At a U.S.O. dance she met her future husband, Duane Marsh. They married on April 10th, 1956 and moved to California where she had her first child.

After returning to Washington they settled down in Olympia where she remained in Thurston County for the rest of her life.

Rose was very involved with Saint Michael’s Church for decades.

In her 30’s she returned to school and went to Evergreen and Saint Martin’s , graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Education in 1978. She taught for the next 24 years.

After retiring she traveled around the U.S. and Canada with trips to England, Hawaii, and Mexico.

She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and friend.

Rose was proceeded in death by her husband Duane, her daughter Karen, and her grandson Jeremiah. She is survived by her sons Daniel, Michael, Johnathan, daughter Tammy, grandchildren Amanda, Jason, Kristopher, and great granddaughters Hattie, Aylivia, Naomi, and Evylan.
