It is with deep and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Penny Money from our lives.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Bill Money, Mother Marjorie Porterfield, Daddy Oscar Porterfield, brother Jerry Porterfield, brother Lee Porterfield and son-in-law Don Strate.
She was a kind and loving wife, sister, Mom, Grammy and friend to many. She attended Puyallup High School and graduated in 1964. She was the Bookkeeper and Office Manager for Browns Flowers from 1980 to 2014. She had many interests in her lifetime, including gardening, sewing, square dancing, pianist, jigsaw puzzles and card playing, her kitty cats, and everyone who knows her is aware of her impeccable skills at keeping an immaculate home! She dearly loved to spend her time with her family and friends, and she was thrilled with every baby that came along.
She will be forever missed, cherished and loved by her daughters Julienne (Ken) Damon and Jeannette Strate, Cindy Cecchi and son Rod (Chris) Money, grandkids Justin (Nicole) Pease, Krysteen Damon, Jenniffer (Mike) O’Connor, Alexis (Kyle) Couture , Kyle (Ariella) Couture, Josh (Kaylina) Money, Amber Forever, Ericka Cecchi, Derek (Alisha) Cecchi, Dustin (April) Cecchi, eight great grandchildren and many more extended family and friends, including Terry and Carolyn Pease, sisters Lyndell Kolilis and Midge Criger, and sisters-in-law Gwen Porterfield and Rita Curry.
A Celebration of her life will be planned and announced at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make donations in her name at your local animal shelter.
