Patsy Lou Purvis died a little before 9 am on Jan. 5, 2019 at Manor Care in Lacey WA. Mrs. Purvis was born Dec. 5, 1929 in Seattle WA. She was 89 years old. she was member of the Yelm community since the early 50’s. Mrs. Purvis Loved horse back riding. She was a 4-H leader in the early 60’s. She raised pigs and sheep for many years and loved to travel in her motor-home. Places she loved to travel to were New Zealand and Yuma Arizona where she would spend many winters. She was a member of the Red Hats and Loaner on Wheels. She was a honorary life time member of the Olympia Farmers Market. Mrs. Purvis is survived by her son David A Purvis and Grandchildren, Krissy A Purvis, Kacey L Pearson and Joshua D Purvis, and 4 Great-grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her Husband John B Purvis and son Gary A Purvis. Services will be held on January 25, at 1PM at Odd Fellows Memorial Park 3802 Cleveland Ave. SE, Tumwater, WA 98501 · (360) 352-8601
