Pamela Ann Rood 66 of Olympia, Washington passed away on February 16th, 2021 at Providence St. Peter’s Hospital in Olympia, Washington. She was born in Olympia, Washington and was the daughter of Richard L. Palmer Sr. and Ruth I. Palmer.
Pamela graduated in Olympia, Washington from Olympia High School in 1972 and got married the Spring shortly after to her beloved husband David Rood on May 25th, 1974. She worked at the Olympia Timberland Library as a circulation assistant for over forty one years.
Pamela loved animals, enjoyed traveling, going to the movies, going to concerts, girls night out with daughters, playing games, house projects, going shopping with her daughters and spending quality time with her husband.
She was the ultimate woman who was all about her family, friends and animals. Pamela such a fun, caring, loving, compassionate, motivated, dependable, determined, strong, helpful and stubborn all around really good person. She was a very respected person by family, friends or anyone that knew her.
In addition she is survived by her loving husband David A. Rood (Olympia), her daughters Rebecca A. Rood (Olympia), Michelle A. Rood (Olympia) and her brother Richard L. Palmer Jr. Pamela is now resting in peace along with her parents Richard L. Palmer Sr. and Ruth I. Palmer.
Services will be held Saturday, June 26th, 2021 at 11:00am-12:00pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home & Cemetery located at 5930 Mullen RD SE, Lacey, WA, 98503.
