Nancy J Wallis, 73, passed away peacefully in her home in Lacey, WA on June 6, 2019. She was born June 19, 1945 in Bellingham, WA to Les and Agnes Peterson. She was the youngest of three children.
Nancy married the love of her life Mervin G Wallis August 26, 1972 in Coeur d’ Alene, ID. They raised seven children together. Nancy worked for Group Health Cooperative for 15 years as their IT Director, retiring in 2002. After retirement she and Mervin moved to Shelton, WA to reside at Lake Limerick. In 2011 they moved to Lacey, WA.
Nancy loved being with family. She and Mervin loved to travel, especially cruises. She loved the beach, specifically Ocean Park, WA. She and her family spent many vacations there during her life. Nancy had a wonderful personality and she was always the life of the party. She will be greatly missed.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 47 years Mervin, children; Rick Wallis, Terry Owens, Desiree Wallis, Ted (Bridget) Wallis, Teresa (Ted) Shuey, Tara (Peter) Finestone, Jason Wallis, 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren with one on the way, and her brother Doug (Kay) Peterson.
Nancy was preceded in death by her father Les Peterson, mother Agnes Conrad and sister Leanne Parry.
