Margaret Martin passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 7,2021 at Providence St. Peter hospital in Olympia WA. She was born in St. Joseph’s hospital in Tacoma on May 5, 1935 to Carl and Corrine Davis. She grew up in Mineral and National before she got married on June 3, 1951 to the love of her life and moved to Olympia WA.

She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Corrine Davis, her brothers Junior Davis and Jim Davis, and sister Esther Bolton.

She is survived by her husband Harold Martin, their three beautiful children Patrick (Sheryl) Martin, Marvin (Jayme) Martin, Carla Martin, grandsons Jeremy (Jessica) Martin and Chad Martin.

She took great pride in raising her family.

She worked retail at O’Hares grocery store and Miller’s Department store before she started her career working for Washington state in professional licensing. She enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping, dancing at the moose lodge, VFW, and sportsman’s club with her husband and their friends. She liked to go bowling, she was on many leagues over the years. She enjoyed crocheting, word search puzzles, bingo and going to the casino. She also loved watching the deer, rabbits, squirrels and other wildlife outside her kitchen window. She was loved and will be missed by many.

Celebration of life will be on May 5, 2021 at the Woodlawn funeral home.  Limit people allowed due to COVID.
