Lenora Joan Borley –March 28, 2021
Lenora Borley, born January 1, 1927, in Yakima, WA, died of natural causes at age 94.
Lenora graduated from Selah High School in 1944. Following her graduation, she married a naval pilot fighting in WWII, Clarence Alvin Borley. She immersed herself in the military way of life, and made a home for her family wherever her husband was assigned. After the military, Al was offered a job in Washington State and they returned to the Northwest for good. Lenora and Al were married for 74 yrs.
Lenora was a vibrant, strong woman who protected her family and pets. Her intelligence made her question everything to find out how it worked. She was an avid reader and loved to talk about articles in the newspapers or books she recently read. She loved to travel, dance, golf, and entertain.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Clarence A. Borley in 2019. She is survived by: her children, Diane Chrisler (Rob), Debra Borley, and Robert Borley (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Brian Chrisler, Jennifer Perry, and Katelyn Borley; and great-grandchildren, Blake and Tyson Chrisler.
