Laura Marie Linch, age 90, died at Capital Medical Center in Olympia, WA on Tuesday, April 2, 2015.

Born November 12, 1924, in Lamont, ID, she graduated high school, Class of 1942 in Minturn, CO.

During World War II she worked at the Boeing plant in Renton, WA. Her job was leveling the plane and working on the guns on the B-17 and B-29. Her crew worked on the very last B-29 to come off the assembly line at Renton Boeing. After the war she moved to Wenatchee, WA where she met and married Wayne Linch. Laura retired from Safeway after over 30 years, primarily in their Tumwater, WA store.

Survivors include her children, Barbara Giaquinto, Owen Linch, Patricia Kelley, Norma Wheeler, sister-in-law Vera Schons, 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Laura was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne, son Jim, two brothers and four sisters.
