Jim lost his battle to Leukemia on 12-13-2015. It has been a 10 year battle and he is now at peace with the Lord. He has three wonderful sons, Stephan David (wife Lisa) Bryan Michael & Eric Daniel. He has 2 grandsons, Aiden James and Micah David who were the light of his life. Jim was a youth football and basketball coach. He loved boating and family camping trips to Banks Lake every summer. Jim also enjoyed watching his WSU Cougars football and basketball and loved the Seahawks and wrestling. Jim retired from the Sate of Washington in 2011. He was a Human Rights Human/ Civil Rights Activist throughout his career. He was a major contributor for the Affirmative Action Plan for WA State. Jim strongly believed in equal rights for everyone. Parents- Theodore Medina, Ramona Medina Brothers Theodore and Thomas Medina Sisters LeiLani Pottratz (deceased) and LaDonna Browell as well as several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at St. Michaels Parish in Olympia, WA January 14th, 2016 at 12:00pm
