My husband, Michael, and I feel fortunate to have been neighbors with Vic and Izzy for many years. They brought a lot of laughter, happiness, and joy to our lives. They always took the time to stop and visit when they were on their daily walk together, as well as being welcoming to those who passed by their home. Vic liked to pretend he "had to get out of the way" whenever any of us were driving through the neighborhood. He was so animated. I'm not sure who got the bigger kick out of his antics...Vic or the recipient.! Izzy would just shake her head. When Vic passed on in '97, Izzy missed him so much she told us time and time again that she would be joining him soon. No longer than two years! We would smile at her and tell her she had too much spunk to be leaving us that soon. Clearly, she had a lot more living to do. As much as Izzy loved and missed Vic, she also loved her family deeply and treasured the times they shared. It was a treat to hear the "joyful noise" coming from their backyard when family gathered there. We enjoyed hearing about her travels with family, as well. One of my most treasured memories of Izzy, is when I was out walking on a beautiful, sunny, afternoon a couple of years ago. She was enjoying her front yard and stopped to say "hello." She was feeling reminiscent and ended up telling me much of her life story. What an incredible gift! Your passing leaves a void in our neighborhood and in our hearts, Izzy. We miss your positive attitude, your heartfelt laughter and beautiful smile. At last, you and dear Vic are together again. Peace and Love to both of you. To the family, we send you our love and prayers.

My last grandparent. The one who I am named after. I don't remember any interaction when I was younger and ,unfortunately, I didn't grow up knowing her. I am so thankful for any time that I was able to spend with her. She was very sweet and had a great smile! RIP grandma
