Mom, you were the best in so many ways. I was so blessed to have you as long as I did. You always led by example and were an inspiration to so many. Although you were constantly battling pain you never gave up. I used to think I was organized until you showed me what real "organized" meant. You had so many wonderful qualities, but the one that sticks in my mind, is your compassion for others. I used to tease you for being soft, but I actually admired your compassion so much. Trish my prayers go out to you and your family. The loss of your Mom, the matriarch of your family is very difficult. Your Mom was a lady of high moral standards, strong work ethic and a great sense of humor. Her legacy is already being passed down through her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed but will forever be present through her children. Bless her and your family.

What an honor to have known Evelyn. We are dear friends of the Mayfield family (daughter Kathleen) and had the privilege of enjoying her company in Sisters, OR on several occasions.
