Esther was born in Alsen, ND on 9-1-1921 to Sam and Clara Olson. She was the 3rd of 12 Children. She moved to Washington at the age of 19. She was briefly employed by Sears, then went on to business college.
She married Wendell Parks in 1942. He served in WW2. She went on to work for the civil service in various parts of the US for 25 years depending where his assignments took them. Both retired, they returned to Olympia in 1973. Wendell died in 1990.
She then married Frank Parle in 1994. He preceded her in death in June 2015. She is survived by one brother, Robert Olson, numerous nieces and nephews and lots and lots of dear friends.
The celebration of life will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on February 20 at 1:00 PM with a reception to follow.
