Elizabeth (Beth) Anne Hepp

Beth passed away with her loving husband by her side on January 8, 2021, in Portland, Oregon. She was born May 26, 1960 in Seattle, Washington to James D and Ruby J. Kannitzer. She graduated in Olympia High School’s Class of 1978. On April 27, 1991, Beth married the love of her life, Wesley, E Hepp. Together, they raised four sons and a daughter.

Beth had several loves and collecting was one of them. She had many collections – penguins, bells to name a couple. She loved to fish, to paint, and travel around RVing. She was a phenomenal cook and everyone loved her Thanksgiving turkey.

Her family meant everything to her, especially her grandchildren. She was a loving, generous person with the biggest heart anyone could possibly have. She was determined and understanding. She was kind to everyone she met. Beth was a loving wife who always thought of others before herself. Making sure others were happy is what made Beth the happiest. Her strength was immeasurable and she loved deeply. She was one of the most loyal persons there were.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 30 years, Wesley E. Hepp Sr; her four sons Michael Kannitzer, Benjamin Hepp, Wesley E Hepp Jr, and Phillip A Hepp; a daughter Alicia L Bell (Hepp); two sisters Linda Kannitzer and Danielle Kannitzer; 15 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.

Welcoming Beth into Heaven were her parents, James and Ruby.

The Celebration of Beth’s life will take place on Tuesday, January 19th, 2021, beginning at 1pm. Please come by prior to the service to spend time with her family. She will be laid to rest next to her father, whom she loved dearly.
