Douglas Roberts, 75, of Yelm, WA, departed his life to be with Jesus on Wednesday, February 25, 2015. A celebration of his life will be announced in a few months and later his ashes will be placed in the wall at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA.
Honored Navy Veteran, he was married to his lovely bride, Earlene for over 50 years on July 10th. Together they had a full life as business owners serving the community and helping them whenever possible. He loved churches and gave his services for free to them. He loved his home for the beauty and the wildlife that visits. His deer family will miss their chats and him over feeding them grain.
Doug is survived by his lovely bride Earlene, his daughters, Sherry, Lisa, Julie and her husband Jeffrey, and one grandson, Jeffrey James. He will be greatly miss. Even as we mourn, we celebrate that he is with Jesus.
