Dorothy “Dot” Virgilene Alstad passed away peacefully at her residence on February 22, 2015. Dot was born November 20, 1931 to Harriett and Elmore Smith in Ewing, MO. She and her mother moved to Shelton, WA in 1947 where she graduated from Irene S. Reed High School in 1950. In the same year she married Donald G. Allee and subsequently had three children, David “Paul”, Sharon, and John. Donald died in 1957. Dot moved to Idaho where she married Wayne H. Hall with whom she had three sons, James (died 1979), Timothy and Phillip. Wayne died in 1977. In 1996 she married her wonderful friend, Axel S. Alstad. She is survived by her husband, five children, 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
