Dear Rose Family: My heart bleeds for each and every one of you for what you are enduring. I cannot even fathom what you are going through. This sucks! I cannot believe that Doris is not with us anymore! She was such a wonderful person and I enjoyed her so very much. I will miss my Auxiliary sister and will never forget her. After my Mom died, Doris called me and talked with me for almost an hour. After our conversation, I felt so much better than I had in a long time--it was nice to talk to a "Mom" once again. After Lee died, I thanked Doris for taking the time to call me when my Mom died and how much better she made me feel. Last summer, Doris and I went on a two-day shopping spree to shop for our annual I.L.W.U. Potluck & Picnic. First of all, shopping is not on my priority list--I actually don't really like it, but do it out of necessity. We all have to shop once in awhile whether we like to or not. After two days of working full-time, driving out to Lacey to meet Doris, I couldn't tell you how much of a great time that I had with that lady! It was a blast and I would never have changed a thing! I cannot do that anymore with her; even though I wish that I could. No one can take away my memories or conversations that I had with her. I will never forget her. Doris did a great job with the Auxiliary--she literally shined! My Mom would have been super proud of her as I was. We have to remember the blessings that we have in life--I do and one of them was to be able to know Doris! SEE you on the other side Doris! Hope you and Lee are having a blast. Love, Jorja
