Doris Mae Rose passed away February 15, 2015. She was born to Ralph and Beulah Schrawyer on February 21, 1940 in Yakima, WA. She graduated from Olympia High School. Doris was married to the love of her life, Junior Lee Rose, for 58 years. She retired from the Retail Clerks Service Union where she was a life time member and acting President of the ILWU Ladies Auxiliary #38 at the time of her death. She loved antiquing and was the owner of an antique business.
Doris is survived by her brother, Leroy (Ruth) Schrawyer of Livermore, CA; her children Lee (Karen) Rose, James (Rita) Rose, Robert (Lori) Rose and beloved grandchildren: Amanda, Robert, Michael, and Jonathan Rose. She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Lee Rose, parents Ralph and Beulah Schrawyer and Sisters Donna and Loretta.
Services will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 5930 Mullen Rd. SE, Lacey, WA on Monday, March 2, 2015; Visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with Memorial service following.
