A Viewing will be held from 11 -12:30 on Monday, June 22, 2015 at Woodlawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow, at 12:30 PM. Interment will be at 2:00p.m. at Mills and Mills Memorial Park. Donations are to be sent to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Billy “B.J”Joe Shelton, 81, of Olympia, passed away at St. Peter Hospital on Friday, June 12, 2015. BJ was born Estell Springs, Tennessee. Billy attended Manchester High School and then went on to work and support his family. He joined the Army from 1954 to 1956. In February 1956 B.J met Carol Carden and married her on October 5, 1956. Together they made their home in Olympia, WA. BJ was the owner of Olympic Northwest Realty. He worked for the old reserve fleet along with the Federal Government for 42 years. He enjoyed golfing, gardening, bowling, and time spent with family. BJ loved to tinker with anything mechanical. He was mechanically minded and passed that on to his children. He is survived by his wife Carol; His children Cherilyn Joy & Denny Eversen, Carolyn Jo & Chris Parks, and Roger Dale Shelton; and 5 grandchildren 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
