Altheda Miller was one of my mother's earliest friends in the Mothers of Twins Club. Their friendship deepened and endured, when Altheda became Altheda Steinbach. I have enjoyed a wonderful mail and telephone relationship with Altheda for nearly 20 years. When I lost my mother 10 years ago, her special MOTA friends became extremely precious to me. Altheda was a lovely woman, and I am sorely saddened by her loss. I know she is reunited in Heaven with her husbands, and many of the MOTA friends. Surely God will rest her soul, she was a woman of faith, honor, and kindness. Her memory is a blessing to all who knew her.

Aunt Altheda was one of the strongest, most singular people I knew. She was bright, forthright and optimistic. She was an example of a strong woman before that became popular (or widely accepted). I appreciated her wit, intellect and her no-nonsense approach to life. She was married to a Miller male, which should earn her some points in heaven. And she raised three terrific children, whom I am proud to call my cousins. --Steve Miller
