Penny passed away May 16th, 2021 in Olympia Washington. She was born on July 17th, 1944 in Madison Heights, Michigan. She graduated from Lamphere High School in Madison Heights. Shortly thereafter moved to California, where she married Steve Arsenault. Later in life she married Charles McLaughlin and they enjoyed their time traveling the West Coast. Penny ran her own craft business and sold antiques. She was an extremely creative person and loved arts and crafts. Penny was a very good painter and enjoyed making ceramics. She was an avid reader and loved animals. She also enjoyed going to garage sales and listening to music. Penny loved to travel all over. Penny was a very caring, loving person. Family meant the world to her, and she would do anything for them. Penny is survived by her daughter Nicole Arsenault; grandson Jesse Heberlein; brother Terry J Helton; sisters Pam Holcomb, Cheryl Lambert, and Cynthia (Walter) Vance and many nieces and nephews. Meeting her were her husband, Charles McLaughlin, parents James Helton and Esther Kehoe. “We will meet together somewhere over the Rainbow” |
