Reverend Richard George Harris

Reverend Richard George Harris passed away July 17, 2017 at the age of 83. He was born January 14, 1934 in Vernonia, Oregon to Reverend Lawrence and Lila Harris. He worked at McLaren School for Boys, pastored a church, Double K Ranch for Boys, Nursing home administrator, and as a substitute teacher. He has been a long time member of the Olympia Lacey Church of God , and the Evergreen State Dahlia Society.

Richard is survived by his wife Carolin of 55 years, their sons Jeffrey Harris and David Harris(Molly), daughters Arlene Harris, and Jeanette Chapman(Ben), grandsons Justin Harris and Joel Harris, sisters Marlene Forsythe, Barbara Dodson, Patricia Harmsworth, Pamala Bowser, Brenda Bellman, and brother Greg Harris.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Warner Pacific College.
