Gerald J Satre

Gerald “Jerry” passed away on January 24, 2017 surrounded with family, after a hard fought battle with an illness. He was born to Samuel and Helen Satre in Aberdeen, WA on April 8th, 1949. He was deeply loved by his family and friends. He was truly “one in a million.” He was very kind, generous, and compassionate and had a great sense of humor. He especially loved being a Grandpa. He graduated from North Thurston High School in 1967 and was drafted into the Army in 1968, where he faithfully fought in the Viet Nam war. Later, he was a successful foreman, one of his many accomplishments  was helping to build Percival Landing.

Jerry is survived by his son’s, Jeremy(Lynn)Satre, Jason(Carissa)Satre, his grandchildren, Skyler, Rowan, Malia, Skylar, Caden, MaKayla, MaKenzie, Jason Jon(J.J). His brother and sister’s, Janet Coyle, Karen Housden, Kay(John), Donald-son, Jack Satre, Diane (Fred) Merkl, & Debbie(Barry)Tesch, and many extended family. He was preceded in death by his Dad and Mom and sister Joan Chaussee.
