Barbara loved spending time with the family. Barbara and Bob loved camping. They started tent camping when the girls were very young, she would talk about washing diapers by hand when they would tent camp. They loved camping so much they purchased their first camping trailer in the late 60’s, and had others after that, putting many miles on each. They enjoyed camping with friends and family at Lake Chelan. They would go hunting in the Teanaway area with their daughter and grandchildren; they camped with both daughters and their family at Kalaloch. They also enjoyed taking the grandchildren on camping trips. In Barbara’s earlier years she loved having the whole family over on holidays and birthdays, and always cooked a delicious meal for all. Barbara loved playing cards, especially pinochle, with friends and family. She enjoyed working in her garden and always had a beautiful yard with many different flowers. In 1999 Barbara felt very fortunate to have the opportunity to travel to Israel with her daughter Debbie and son-in-law Don.
