Lacey Resident William H. Coleman Jr, 86 died at his home May 17, 2016. Mr. Coleman was born September 15, 1928 in Nashville, TN. Bill, who was known by family, colleagues and many he grew up with as Sonny, served in the US Army for over 20 years including service in Vietnam as a Medic. He married Lois Cynthia Brown and they moved to Washington State where he retired from the Army and became one of the first Physician Assistants at Group Health Cooperative in Lacey Washington, where he worked for over 20 years. Bill was an avid sports fan who loved boxing, the Seattle Mariners and Seahawks as well as philosophical conversations on a multitude of topics. He is survived by daughter Deanna Welhoff, and sons William H Coleman III, and Sean L Coleman, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren Memorial Services will be held June 3, 2016 at Sacred Heart Church in Lacey WA.
