Nancy Ann Lormor Johnson, 73, passed away on March 7, 2016 in Lilliwaup, WA. She was born in Seattle, WA on May 23, 1942 to Alvin and Catherine Lormor and graduated from North Thurston High School in 1960. She married William Johnson on December 1, 1961 and had two daughters. She retired from many dedicated years with the Federal Highway Administration. She enjoyed travelling, many times to Alaska, and camping with family and friends. Nancy and Bill moved to the waterfront on Hood Canal in the early 1980’s, where they enjoyed all the amenities of saltwater living, such as shrimping, crabbing, fishing and more with the many new friends they made up there. She also enjoyed her time at the local casinos. She was an avid reader and also loved crossword puzzles with a pen. She is survived by daughter, Robin (David) Lazelle and grand-daughter Joecee of Yelm, WA; brothers: Eugene (Becky) Lormor of Richardson, TX, James (Olga) Lormor of Rochester, WA ; sisters: Beverly Young, Meridian, ID, and Sandra (Richard) Anderson, Nine Miles Falls, WA and numerous nieces, nephews and many close friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Johnson, daughter Ericka Johnson and her parents Alvin and Catherine Lormor. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Woodlawn Gardens Cemetery, Lacey, WA. A Celebration of Life will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Little Creek Casino, Shelton, WA. |
