Rachel Florence Hargrove

Rachel went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Mother Joseph’s Care Center in Olympia, WA.

Rachel’s life was centered around God and her family. She loved teaching Sunday School and was the church Secretary at the United Pentecostal Church in Atwater, CA. for many years. She enjoyed painting, crocheting and many other arts and crafts. She spent many weekends camping at Big Bear, CA with her family or fishing off the pier in Long Beach, CA. Rachel and Stanley gave of themselves by being foster parents to newborns in transition in Ontario, CA.

Rachel was a loving wife of 55 years at the time her husband Stanley passed away. She was a God fearing woman and raised her two children to love and serve God.

Rachel is survived by her sister, Rhoda Lawrence and two brothers Jimmy and Joe Dotson. Her children, Sally Kemp (Rev. Thomas) of Tacoma, WA and Jeffrey Hargrove, of Texas. Rachel loved her grand children, Nanette Graham (Bobby) of McCleary, WA, Rebecca Webb (Io) of Lacey, WA, Shawnna Riedweg (Jeff) of Kelso, WA. Tiffany Breland, Andrew Hargrove (Lacey), Brandy and Chelsie Hargrove of Texas. Great Grandchildren, Kyleen and Cierra Gapinski, Shane and Shyanne Webb, Julian Baron, Madison Breland-Diaz, Aria and Kori Hargrove. Great Great Grandchildren, Teagen and Chase Williams. She had many more friends and family that were very dear to her.

Rachel follows her husband Stanley, Grandson Jeffrey Hargrove Jr., her brother John Dotson and sisters Elisabeth Dickinson, Pauline LaCount and Louise Dotson and her mother and father to heaven.
