Peter Lincoln Hallas was born April 15, 1949 to Norman and Nancy Hallas and passed away on May 15, 2015 due to complications from pneumonia. He was raised in Portsmouth, RI. Pete served 28 years in the United States Army, which included serving in Vietnam in 1969 with the 101st Airborne. Pete retired at Joint Base Lewis McChord, Tacoma, WA at the rank of Master Sergeant. He lived the remainder of his life in Yelm, WA, where he was a man of many talents and led a very accomplished life. He had a great sense of humor, was a real people person, and a charmer. Pete enjoyed fishing, guns and good BBQ. Pete is survived by his wife Carol, five children, Linc, Mark, Tara, Judy and Toly; six grandchildren, Jared, Gage, Charles, Edward, Greyson, Zena and additional step-children and step grandchildren.
