Joan Bonnell Cysensky Pesacreta Harris
Bonnie, 87, passed away on February 20, 2021 at home. She was born on July 5, 1933, in El Centro, California to Jack and Faye Cysensky. She went to both Stadium High School and Lincoln High School in Tacoma, Washington. She was the owner of a women’s boutique called “The Witches Hut”in Mesa, Arizona, a family restaurant owner in Sweet Valley, Pennsylvania, and an administrator of a newspaper printing business in Mesa, Arizona and Seaside, California. In 1955, Bonnie married Tom Pesacreta. Unfortunately, Tom passed away in November 1992. She married Frank Harris in 1998 and he passed away in February 2008.
Bonnie was very involved with the Senior Centers in both Olympia and Lacey. She loved to join them in any events that took place. She loved to dance. Shopping was a big thing for her, and she always looked beautiful in whatever she picked out. She made road trips fun. Bonnie’s family meant the world to her, and she would do anything for family. Bonnie was a strong and amazing mother. Her life revolved around her family.
Mom was an amazing woman who knew each and every one of her children individually. She was very intelligent and full of wisdom. Her children were her world and that’s what she lived for. Mom had a heart of gold. We will miss you and love you forever. Her famous words to her children were “I love you more”.
Bonnie is survived by four of her children: Son Larry W. Pesacreta of Rainier, Washington; Daughter Beverly Hall of Factoryville, Pennsylvania; Son Tom F. Pesacreta (Donna) of Lacey, Washington; and Son Frank J. Pesacreta (Sheri) of Parker, Arizona. Grandchildren are Angela and Tristan; Gino, Amanda, and Alicia; Tommy and Gina; Mario, Jessica, and Joey; and Sean, Sophia, and Natalie. Great-grandchildren are Reed and Jude; Frankie, Brody and Tucker, Nevaeh, Mia and Chloe; Hailey and Harper; Nathan, Isabella and Anthony; Koben, Kellan and Madison.
Welcoming Bonnie to Heaven were her two husbands Tom Pesacreta and Frank Harris, son John Pesacreta, and grandson Tony.
The family would like to thank Dr Ron Krauss for being one of her closest friends for over 45 years as well as for the amazing medical care that he provided to her.
The family is grateful for Larry Marshall and the many years of love, companionship; traveling, dancing, and happiness he brought to her.
Family said their good-byes to Bonnie on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 10am-12pm, at Woodlawn Funeral Home (5930 Mullen Road SE, Lacey WA 98503). She will be sorely missed and forever in our hearts.
