Robert (Bob) was born on March 1, 1957 and recently passed away on June 1, 2020. He was a resident of Olympia. He was born in Los Angeles, CA and was a Pueblo of Laguna tribal member.
He is survived by his son, Mathew Williams of Lacey and Timothy Williams. Bob was the 6th child of 6 to George and Agnes Williams. Two siblings survive him: Michael Williams, age 71, of Aransas Pass, TX and Caroline Woodhull (age 67) of Albuquerque, NM. Bob will be cremated with some ashes to be interned here in Olympia and the remainder to be taken to Laguna to be buried in the tribal cemetery with tribal rights to be performed. His ashes will be taken by his brother, Michael, to Laguna, NM.
Robert served honorability in the US Army with the 101st Airborne Division. He was well known in the area to support the local veterans here. A memorial service will be held by the Puyallup VFW 2224 on Saturday, June 13th at 12 noon at the Nisqually Reach Nature Center.
