Marion B. Downing was born 10/25/1922 to Frank and Johanna Fredriksen in Port Angeles, WA where she lived until her niece Karen Fedriksen Langlois moved her to Olympia, WA on 03/03/2017 to provide care for her. She resided at Bonaventure Senior Community of Lacey until her death on 02/25/18 at the age of 95.

The wonderful staff and caregivers quickly embraced her as family. And she was extremely loved and happy to the end! She was always first to volunteer for activities and became a favorite loved resident!

She was preceded in death by 2 husbands and her only son Robert H. (Bob), a brother and 4 sisters as well as other relatives. She is survived by an older sister, Agnes McCarrol in Hammond,LA, niece Karen, 2 nephews, a grandniece , 2 grand nephews, 2 grandchildren in Port Angeles, WA; Robert k. Downing and Merri Downing Sawyer and 5 great-grandchildren

She loved roller skate dancing, hiking, animals, her farm, camping and traveling with her grandson Robert who lived many years with her. She will be greatly missed by all of the many who loved her!
