Oh what a shock to lose our beautiful friend Kate. It seems very wrong for the world to lose such a bright loving light at such a early age. We will truly miss hearing her happy voice and getting to see her on special trips to Olympia. Our times together were always special, made so by both Dale and Kate's capacity for loving, warm hospitality. Kate always knew how to cater to our sweet tooths with unrivaled five star culinary creations. We have such a big hole in our hearts now and know that missing her will be constant. We were lucky to have been granted the time we spent with her and can only pray that Dale and her entire family will find some peace in knowing how loved she was and missed she will be. Lovey, graceful, sweet, petite, dainty, and beautiful are all words I would use to describe Kate. When arriving to this site to leave a message I was in one way surprised and in another way not, that the same picture I had in my mind of Kate, is the picture my parents posted. I'll always remember going to Belize with my parents, Dale and Kate, and my friend. I remember her wearing that exact dress and I as a young 17yr old girl thinking how beautiful she looked. I remember speaking too fast one day and accidentally saying Kate and Date, instead of Kate and Dale, and since then it's stuck to joke with Dale and call him Date instead. Kate and Dale were so kind to laugh and be open hearted to my joke. I didn't dare go further to say Kale and Date, but I always thought that was cute as well. Clearly I have dyslexia, but isn't it neat & cute how God can use it to bring a laugh or smile. I genuinely am so gracious to the Lord for Dale and Kate in my parents lives, being kind, fun friends to them and providing opportunity for many goods times together. Dale will remain in our families daily prayers, and not a day will go by that Kate isn't missed. Lord Jesus dance with Kate until we meet her again. We so enjoyed the times they would come over to Coeur d Alene and we would head to Quinn's Resort for a few days soaking in the hot springs.

- [ ] My sincere condolences to Katherine’s family and friends. May you find comfort in your loving memories, and in God's promise to soon "swallow up death forever" and "wipe away the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25;8) Rev 21:4  “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” To find more comforting scriptures visit www.jw.org.
