Katherine Ann Wetsig, 72, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2018 while held in the arms of her loving husband of 20 years, Dale Wetsig. Kate was blessed to meet Dale in Tumwater, WA and they married on December 27, 1997. Kate shared her talents as an avid gardener, amazing cooking, boating, snowmobiling, sewing and many other hobbies with family and friends. Kate loved music and the arts.  A gentle soul, Kate had an enormous heart for her family and friends, making each one feel special and dedicating her life to them. Her favorite past-time with just being alongside of her husband. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter, and loved each selflessly. Her greatest passion was hosting her family and creating a loving home. Kate was an amazing woman who leaves a beautiful legacy.

She is survived by her husband Dale, children Gretchen Maliska, Eric DeWitt, Barbara Lyman and Brian Wetsig, their spouses and ten grandchildren, mother Ruby Lewellen, sister Peg Johnson.
