Joe O. Whiting was born November 21, 1944 in Tacoma, Washington to Vest and Charles Whiting.
Joe loved the outdoors and visiting people and driving trucks and meeting different people around the world. He also loved going to Alaska every year to work. He has been a loving husband, father and grandpa to many people.
He is survived by his loving wife ALanna, sisters Caroline (Bob) Schultz and Wendy (Arney) Rogers, daughter Joan Whiting and sons Patrick (Sue) Whiting and Bradley Whiting.
He is preceded in death by both parents Vesta and Charles and his brothers Rick and Chuckie Whiting.
Joe has three granddaughters, one grandson and three great grandsons. As well as numerous nephews and nieces.
A Celebration of Life is to be determined and will be held at a later date.
